Privacy policy
Your privacy — and that of the visitors to your business — matters to us. Here is how we collect, use and protect information.
This privacy policy describes how EYEZ (Eyezapp) collects and uses information through our website and services. Using the website and the service constitutes your acceptance of this policy.
1. Anonymous visitor analytics
The EYEZ platform analyses visitor traffic in physical spaces using computer vision. The analysis is anonymous and statistical — we measure trends (counts, estimated demographics, busy hours). We do not identify individuals, collect names, or store biometric identifiers that would allow anyone to be identified personally.
2. Information we collect from customers
- Contact details you provide (name, company, phone, email) when you enquire or request an installation.
- Usage and operational data required to run the dashboard and the service for your business.
- Basic browsing data on this website (for operating and improving the user experience) — see section 6, "Cookies and tracking technologies", for the detail.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the service, to communicate with you, to give support, and to meet legal requirements. We do not sell personal information to third parties.
When you leave an enquiry through the contact form or subscribe to updates, the details you provided are stored in our management system and sent to us as a notification — through an email service provider (Resend) and/or WhatsApp — solely so we can handle your enquiry. These providers act as data processors on our behalf. To prevent abuse of the form (flooding/spam) we rate-limit submissions using a one-way hash of the IP address; the original IP address is not stored.
4. Information security
We apply accepted security measures to protect information. Data is stored on secure servers and access is limited to authorised personnel only.
5. Your rights
Subject to law, you may ask to review the information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. For privacy enquiries you can reach us at:
- Email: info@eyezapp.co.il
- Address: 10 Smilansky St., Netanya, Israel
- Via our contact page
6. Cookies and tracking technologies
By default this website uses strictly necessary cookies only. Non-essential cookies and technologies — analytics, marketing and embedded third-party content — are activated only after your explicit prior consent, in line with Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (as amended by Amendment 13) and the guidance of the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority. Declining does not affect your ability to browse the site.
- eyez_consent (essential, first-party, 6-month lifetime) — stores your cookie choice, including when consent was given and which policy version it applied to. This is the only cookie the site sets by itself.
- eyez_lang (functional-essential, first-party, 1-year lifetime) — remembers whether you chose Hebrew or English, so the site stops selecting a language for you. Written only when you use the language switch, and never used for tracking or identification.
- eyez_a11y (functional-essential, localStorage, first-party) — stores the accessibility adjustments you selected in the accessibility menu (text size, contrast and so on), in your browser only. It is created only if you turned an adjustment on, and is not used for tracking or identification. See our accessibility statement.
- Cookieless first-party measurement — the site measures usage (page views, referrer, device type, country) with our own system, which uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. The only identifier is an anonymous one-way code that rotates daily and cannot identify you personally or track you across days; the IP address is not stored. Data is retained in aggregate for up to 24 months.
- Google Analytics (GA4) (analytics, third party — Google) — activated only after consent to the "analytics" category. It sets cookies (
_ga,_ga_<id>, up to 24 months) and processes usage data (page views, referrer, device type, geographic region) on Google's servers, including outside Israel (in the United States); the IP address is anonymised. If you also consent to the "marketing" category, data is collected to build remarketing audiences for advertising. See Google's privacy policy and cookie policy. - Google Maps cookies (embedded content, third party) — loaded only after consent to the "embedded content" category, or an explicit click on "Show the map" on the contact page. See Google's cookie policy.
- Admin sign-in storage (/admin) (essential, site operators only) — keeps site staff signed in; it is never loaded for visitors.
Beyond the anonymous first-party measurement described above, the only third-party analytics tool active on this site is Google Analytics (GA4), which runs solely after your consent to the "analytics" category. No third-party marketing tools are active today; if any are added in future, they will run only after consent to the "marketing" category.
Changing or withdrawing consent: at any time, through the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawal applies from the moment you change it onwards. Current cookie policy version: 3.
7. Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page. Last updated: July 2026.
