For years it felt as though

I sat with dozens of business owners and chain managers, listened to their challenges, and every time I felt the same frustration — I wanted to offer advice that would lift their sales, but it felt as though we were groping in the dark.
Without real data, every management decision was a bet placed on "gut feeling", and that is deeply frustrating. It was hard to watch businesses with enormous potential that had no idea why a customer walked out empty-handed, or how to turn a casual visit into a certain sale.
